The happy prince EPISODE 2

 Episode 2

Recap : As Archie was trying to sleep while laying his head on the leg of the statue … suddenly 

Archie: “ OUCH!!! , what on earth ?”

“Could you please stop laying on my golden boots?!”

Archie was confused as for where the voice came and looked up to see who it was

Archie : “ did I just hear someone speak from here? But no one’s above ! “

“ do you have no eyes , little bird?”

The voice came from above , from the statue which was suddenly moving .

Archie : “ Aren’t you supposed to not do anything and stand like a statue ?! Or am I imagining things?”

Suddenly the statue kicked Archie and he was thrown off to the freezing pavement .

“ Are you still dreaming , little bird?”

Archie : “ ouch !! That hurts and first of all I’m not a little bird , I have a name and second of all, I can also be a human!” Said Archie transforming into his human form

“ As if a world full of wizards and witches aren’t enough, we’ve got stubborn swallows transforming into ugly blonde humans…”

Archie: “I’m not ugly and my name is Archie !! And I am at least a half human half swallow unlike you who is a statue! And why are you even moving?”

“None. Of. Your. Business. “

Archie : “ since you’re not willing to introduce yourself I’m not willing to be friendly either and I’m gonno leave this place asap!!”

“No one cares !” Said the happy prince statue.

As Archie was leaving the city of òir to go to North Pole he was suddenly stopped by a flock of owls .

Owls : “ did we just find the prince of barn swallows?! “

King of owl : “ the prince could indeed be a good prey for us right? And the prince of barn swallows is a huge prey for us owls..”

Archie : “ hey look , I’ve already been kicked out by a statue and now I’m not in the mood to deal with a bunch of owls in the middle of the night!!!”

King of owl: “do you think of us as a joke? The owls of the city of òir are more powerful than they look and we will prove it you”

The owls and swallows have always been enemies. The king of owls, Hermes and his flock have been waiting for a prey for a long time and now Archie had gotten into their trap . As Hermes was angry because of how unconcerned Archie was , he ordered all the owls to attack on Archie and prey on him.

Hermes : “ my dear owls , today the prince of barn swallows will be our prey and as I say start you must attack him!”

Archie : “ wait what? No,no,no, give me a second to breathe”

Before he could do anything , all the owls marched towards him and started attacking him.

“Stop it Hermes!!”

Hermes : “ huh? Henry? What are you doing here?” 

Archie turned back to see out of curiousity. It was the happy prince statue , but half of his body was human and half a statue…..

Henry: “ Hermes , that guy right there is a friend of mine who is leaving after greeting me , leave him!”

Hermes : “ this guy is the prince of swallows , and he clearly told that he just got kicked by a statue!”

Henry : “ we had a bit of disagreement “

Hermes : “ doesn’t that make him our enemy then?”

Henry : “No it doesn’t “

Hermes : “ Regardless of the reason we can’t leave him , he’s our prey , we’ve been looking for one for months and my flock is hungry . “

Henry : “ thats your problem and my friend has nothing to do with it”

Hermes : “ He’s clearly our enemy and we need to devour him”

Henry : “ you know the consequences you’d face if I become your enemy!”

Hermes knew the consequences he’d face fighting against the statue prince so he..

Hermes : “ owls ! Leave the guy and let’s look for another prey !”

The owls left Archie and flew away to look for another prey.

Archie : “should I thank you or what?”

Henry : “ the flock of owls are the least dangerous creatures in Auriel city ( city of òir) and if you can’t survive them then I’m afraid you will need some help to leave this city without being devoured by different creatures.”

Archie knew that Henry was right so he..

Archie : “fine , thank you for saving me . I have a feeling you need a favour from me which is why you helped me , am I wrong?”

Henry : “well I indeed saved you for a reason but before shouldn’t we officially introduce ourselves?”

Archie : “I’m Archie Wilson , prince of barn swallows.”

Henry : “I’m Henry Henderson , also known as the happy prince.”

Archie : “Aren’t you a statue?”

Henry : “I used to be a human before I got cursed by my uncle .”

Archie : “you don’t look cursed and completely normal right now but when I saw you first you were just a statue…..”

Henry : “I was cursed to remain as a statue always but after my uncle passed away and all of his future generations passed away I’m able to move in night as a normal human but in morning I’m just a statue.”

Archie : “my mom has told me stories about you but I thought all of that was a just a myth and you were just a statue put up by humans but you’re actually true and also you’ve a very odd curse upon you…”

Henry : “I did not save you for a history lesson about me.”

Archie : “ then may I know the reason why you did? I always pay back to people I'm in debt.”

Henry : “you’re the prince of barn swallows right?”

Archie : “ do I look like something else?”

Henry : “ just answer my question!”

Archie : “ YEAH…”

Henry : “ then follow me”

With that Henry walked away. The city was quiet and the climate was very cold. The city of òir is mainly famous for its incredibly detailed statues and marvellous monuments built by many rare materials and covered by gold , hence it was named the city of òir . Apart from the monuments and statues the city is also famous for another thing , it’s streets covered full of rare flowers and the endless amount of secret alleys full of magical flowers grown by witches , creatures , magicians and etc. Henry walked past a huge mirror shop in which a huge mirror was broken and entered a street filled with Rhododendrons then he took took a left turn and entered a secret alley which was full of fireflies and tomopteris . As he entered the alley , Archie was surprised as he saw a marine creature in land , especially one that emits blue light….

Archie : “isn’t a tomopteris a marine worm? How is it present in land and why is it flying ? What are these weird flowers and why are they so dark as if the are burned ?”

As Archie was about to touch them , Henry stopped him and told,

Henry : “don’t touch them , those flowers contain spirits who are trapped and may attack you if you touch them!!”

Archie : “ where are you taking me ??? And why?”

Henry didn’t answer and they went deep into the alley . Suddenly he stopped in front of a tiny cottage that was full of black butterflies…

The cottage was very old , worn out and the door looked as though it would fall off any time and there was a foul smell as well. Henry opened the door and went inside .

Archie : “ wait for me !! You’re basically running and this place stinks on top of that!!”

As Henry and Archie entered the house…..suddenly the door closed itself and they fell inside a black hole …

Archie : “ w-w-what  is happening? Ohhhhhh my god !!”
